About Magenta Freeman

Magenta Freeman is not the speaker who found her voice easily. She is the speaker who lost it in the places that mattered most, paid the full cost of that silence, and rebuilt herself from the inside out. She stands on stages now because she knows exactly what staying quiet costs - and exactly what it takes to stop paying that price.

She entered corporate IT with a religion degree and no technology background, at entry level, at one of the most credential-conscious industries in the country. Five years later she held senior leadership positions at two of the top banks. She built that career the same way she builds everything - by speaking honestly in rooms where silence would have been the easier, safer choice.

That willingness to use her voice at work was real. It was earned. And for years, it was the only place she fully trusted it.

At home, the story ran differently. Two marriages - one that became abusive, one overtaken by addiction - taught her a lesson that corporate success never could: that a woman can be bold in one room and completely voiceless in another, and that the silence she carries in private will eventually find its way into everything else.

The costs were real. Financial. Physical. Relational. There were years when her relationships with her children bore the weight of what she couldn't say out loud.

I knew how to speak in a boardroom. I did not know how to speak for myself when it mattered most. And I did not fully understand what that silence was doing to my body, my bank account, or the people I loved until I had already paid a price I couldn't get back.

By 2019, she had completed her Master of Arts in Psychology Research at the University of Colorado Denver - alongside a certificate in Nonprofit Organization Management from UC Denver's School of Public Affairs - and she had already been doing the internal work for years. What she hadn't yet done was build something of her own around it.

Then 2020 arrived. The pandemic functioned as the reboot she needed but couldn’t name. In that stillness, she made decisions she had been delaying for years. She rebuilt her finances, her health, and her relationship with her children. And she launched her coaching and consulting practice - stepping fully into the work she had been preparing for, whether she knew it or not, for most of her adult life.

She has since completed her coaching certification as a Master Certified Professional Coach through the Certified Life Coach Institute, an ICF-authorized training organization, and is currently pursuing her Associate Certified Coach credential with the International Coaching Federation. Out of her season of reinvention, the seeds of the Heart-Mind-Mouth Method began to take root.

The pandemic gave me something I hadn't had in years - enough quiet to finally hear myself. What I heard changed everything.

Magenta now brings that story, that training, and that framework to professional women who recognize themselves in it - women who lead with confidence in their careers and go silent in their closest relationships, women who have achieved everything on paper and still feel like something essential is missing from their own voice.

Her background in psychology research shapes how she thinks about silence - not as a character flaw or a confidence problem, but as a learned response to real conditions, one that carries measurable costs and responds to deliberate, structured practice. Her coaching training gives her the methodology. Her life gives her the credibility no certification can manufacture.

The Heart-Mind-Mouth Method™ - the three-part framework at the center of her keynotes, workshops, and coaching work - grew directly from her own rebuilding. It is the map she wished she'd had. She now hands it to every woman in the room.

If you have ever sat in a meeting and said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment - and then gone home and said nothing at all - I built this work for you.

Your honest voice already exists. It just needs to learn that it's safe to come home.
